Job Summary

As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch in Overland Park, KS, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world's most critical infrastructure challenges. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse, impactful projects that support our clients' goals while fostering your professional growth and advancing the success of Black & Veatch.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with calculating the cost of projects based upon an analysis of collected data applying knowledge and techniques of Engineering and advance mathematics Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and equipment to determine procurement and construction cost for assigned projects Develop preliminary layouts and other plans Perform special studies or analyses of specific portions of project Study includes research, investigation, or coordination Individual contributor with no subordinates

Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering, accredited university in Construction Management, or related discipline program. No experience required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Work Environment/Physical Demands This intern position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis. Salary Plan EST: Estimating Job Grade 097
