Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7 days on / 7 days off rotating schedule | 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday nights) | 16-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EPIC order verification as part of nightly pharmacy operations
• Conduct BD Pyxis maintenance and BD carousel operations
• Perform sterile IV compounding; possible hazardous IV sterile compounding responsibilities
• Work holidays that fall within a scheduled week of nights
• Operate within a no-float assignment, remaining in the designated pharmacy unit

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• PA Fingerprints required; must be completed within 1 week of contract signing
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hazardous IV sterile compounding
• Familiarity with BD Pyxis and BD carousel systems in a hospital or acute care setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
